ZEBRAFISH AVATAR: TOWARDS PERSONALISED MEDICINE
Cancer continues to pose a major therapeutic challenge, as for some common solid cancers, the prospects of cure remains remote, whilst their incidence remains high. In this project, we will validate the use of zebrafish embryos for cost/ethical sustainable co-clinical trial. This should allow to identify the best personalised therapeutic regimen as well as to reduce costs and toxicity associated to non personalised approaches. Such a bench-to-bedside transition will facilitate a long term robust strategy that is economically feasible and clinically effective to manage cancer.
