After graduating in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2003 I obtained my PhD in Biomedical Sciences in 2007 at the University of Pisa

01/2012 – 10/2017       Assistant Professor of Veterinary Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pisa, Italy.

01/2009 – 12/2011     Histopathologist at Siena Biotech SpA, Italy – Preclinical evaluation (safety and efficacy) of small molecules. Therapeutic Area: neuro-oncology and neuro-degeneration.

01/2007 – 12/2008    Post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Veterinary Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology, University of Pisa, Italy. Research Area: “Cellular and molecular aspects of tissue repair and regeneration”.
