Mauro Tucci was in January 1981, and he graduated with a master’s degree in Automation Engineering in 2004 at the University of Pisa. He achieved the PH.D. in “Applied Electromagnetics” at the University of Pisa in 2008. In 2010 he joined the Department of Electrical Systems and Automation of the University of Pisa as Assistant Professor.
Currently he is Full professor at Destec, University of Pisa. Since 2013 he teaches the course of “Diagnostics and Monitoring of Electrical Systems and Devices” and “Circuit Theory”.
Mauro Tucci is author and coauthor of more than 150 papers published on international journals and on the proceedings of international conferences.
In these research fields the results obtained by Mauro Tucci have been well received by the scientific community, and are published on several international journals.
Mauro Tucci received the “Young Researcher Price” from the University of Pisa in 2011 and 2013.
Since 2018 he is IEEE Senior Member, and he serves as associate editor for IEEE Access Journal.
He is a co-author of the book chapter “Channel Characterization.” Power Line Communications: Principles, Standards and Applications from Multimedia to Smart Grid, 2nd Edition, Wiley.
