YANMAR R&D Europe
- Designed classical and AI approaches for machine control systems by using Matlab/Simulink.
- Implemented autonomous guidance and navigation system for grounded robots using ROS2 and Python (Ubuntu OS).
- Managed DevOps activities (continuous integration and development) for a clean code architecture though GitLab.
- Drafted technical documentation (User’s Manual, Risk Assessment and Technical document).
- (As part of the ICT company group), helped to manage and fix IT problems also through collaboration and interaction within all YANMAR departments (World Wide).
Software Developer [2019]
ISAC s.r.l
- Helped in design of ISAC industrial MCN (Machine Numerical Control) simulator by using C++ and visual basic.
- Created 3D CAD file for software testing.
Junior Robotics Engineer [2016 – 2019]
Italian Institute of Technology – ADVanced Robotics (ADVR) department
- Led the system integration (mechanical, electric and software components) developed in the SoftPro (Synergy-based Open-source Foundations and Technologies for Prosthetics and RehabilitatiOn) European Project.
- Tested the prototype during a preliminary clinical investigation test with the Users.
- Drafted technical documentation (User’s Manual, Risk Assessment and Technical document) and
- Tested the prototype for Electromagnetic Compliance (IEC 60601 – 1 – 2) and Electrical Safety for Medical Devices (IEC 60601 – 1).
Research Fellowship February [2016]
University of Pisa – Centro di Ricerca “Enrico Piaggio”
Study of a under actuated robotic wrist
- Analyzed the under actuated passive robotic wrist: compensation movements during objects manipulation tasks and grasp activities.
- Presented a possible hardware solution with related performance evaluation.
Research Fellowship January [2016]
University of Pisa – Centro di Ricerca “Enrico Piaggio”
State of the art of robotic multi degrees of freedom wrist
- Analyzed the state of the art of robotic multi degree of freedom wrist in robotic and prosthesis devices during the grasp activities (differences between the passive, active and hybrid solutions)
Research Grant 06/2014 – 11/2014
University of Pisa – SAIPEM spa
- Designed a method to compare several inertial measurement units with a maximum error of 5% precision and accuracy thanks to pseudo-Montecarlo method.
- Validated a model for the sensor error dynamics and its propagation with a precision of 95% by developing a software tool implemented in C++ and Matlab.
