The project SMART (Sustainable Mobility via AI-enabled Reconfigurable THz communications), jointly submitted by the University of Pisa and the Université Gustave Eiffel (France) has been selected for funding by the Partenariat Hubert Curien Galilée for the years 2025-26.
The project, led by E. Veronica Belmega for the French side, and by myself for the Italian side, will focus on investigating AI-enabled techniques for (sub-)THz propagation scenarios in the presence of user mobility, and will start in February 2025.
