Conformational diversity is one of the most important way of Nature to disclose fundamental properties, like biological function, structural support or biochemical transport.
My Research interests focus mainly on the discovery and development of modern synthetic methods in organic chemistry, for the synthesis of biomimetic molecules, able to fold in interesting conformations. A deeper understanding of their constrained geometry or fluxionality and dynamics, may lead to the development of new materials for biological applications or potentially new drugs in medicinal chemistry.
