I am an Assistant Professor (RTD-A) in Statistics (SECS-S/01) at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa (Italy).
I studied Economics and Quantitative Methods at the University of Pisa (Italy). I completed my Ph.D. in Economics, Statistics and Sustainability at the University of Napoli Parthenope (IT) in 2018.
My research interests lie in the extension of M-quantile regression models for both spatial and multilevel data and the development of new models in the field of small-area estimation supported by applications in the economic and social fields. The most recent interests concern data integration and the development of new statistical learning techniques. I enjoy working interdisciplinary, and my application areas are poverty analysis, social exclusion and educational inequalities.
