I am delighted to celebrate the successful PhD defense of my colleague and friend Francesca Niccolai, who has just earned her doctoral degree in Chemistry and Materials Science with a thesis titled:
“Next-generation polymeric proton-exchange membranes for AQDS/bromine semi-organic redox flow battery”
A brilliant and passionate researcher, Francesca carried out her work in our lab and at her company under the supervision of Prof Elisa Martinelli (FunPolymer lab, DCCI) and Dr Ilaria Pucher (Green Energy Storage – GES, Povo TN), tackling key challenges in the development of advanced membrane materials for clean energy technologies.
