{"id":143,"date":"2018-01-18T11:33:20","date_gmt":"2018-01-18T10:33:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/people.unipi.it\/vittoria_raffa\/?page_id=143"},"modified":"2018-01-18T19:37:00","modified_gmt":"2018-01-18T18:37:00","slug":"5-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/people.unipi.it\/vittoria_raffa\/5-3\/","title":{"rendered":"MARVENE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MARVENE (magnetic nanoparticles for nerve regeneration)<\/p>\n<p>The aim of MARVENE project is to the use magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) as functional nano-structures to enhance nerve regeneration by exploiting the mechanical forces acting on MNP-neurons to promote axonal elongation\/growth.<\/p>\n<p>Application of a tensile force to a neuron or an axon can stimulate neurite initiation or axon elongation in the desired direction.
