To participate it is necessary:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Send an email<\/strong> to <a href=\"mailto:matteo.villa@unipi.it\">matteo.villa@unipi.it<\/a> within the day before the scheduled office hour, in order to book the appointment, indicating &#8220;office hour&#8221; and the date in the subject line.<\/li><li><strong>Connect<\/strong> to the internet at the beginning of the office hour time or at the time indicated by the lecturer (in the case of multiple bookings):<ul><li>According to the booking order. you will receive at your email address a link and the time to connect to it.<\/li><li>Click on the link to connect to the platform, allow webcam and microphone, log in and enter your name in the settings.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>In case<\/strong> you are unable to book within the day before, try to contact the lecturer by email the same day and wait for a reply.<\/li><li><strong>For a better use of the instrument<\/strong>, follow the instructions below (info also <a href=\"https:\/\/iorestoacasa.work\/come-si-usa.html\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/iorestoacasa.work\/faq.html\">here<\/a>):<ol><li>use Firefox, Chrome or Chromium as your browser;<\/li><li>check the quality of the connection (e.g. if home) or telephone connection work better: area and operator can make some difference);<\/li><li>lower the video quality in the settings;<\/li><li>close all other web applications on your device;<\/li><li>check that the device (pc or tablet or other) is up-to-date;<\/li><li>if any problems persist, see <a href=\"https:\/\/iorestoacasa.work\/faq.html#faq3\">here<\/a>.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong> More info on online teaching <a href=\"https:\/\/people.unipi.it\/matteo_villa\/didattica-in-rete-per-coronavirus\/\">here<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right wp-block-paragraph\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/people.unipi.it\/matteo_villa\/ricevimento-contatti\/\">Back to Office Hour info<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since May 2020, the online office hour takes place via the Open Source platform GARR Openmeet.
