Virtual room information:

The virtual room of the seminar is BlueMeet GARR, a public platform based on BigBlueButton open source software. Here is the essential information:

Connect with the browser (no app needed):

  • Personal Computer: connect directly from browser with Firefox, Chrome, Brave or Edge. No need to download apps.
  • Smartphone: connect directly from browser with Chrome or Bromite for Android and Safari for IOS. No need to download apps.

To join the room:

  • Type in a name or pseudonym to enter.
  • Log in by enabling “microfono” or “microphone”.
  • You will be connected to an audio test called “echo test”.
  • Then click on the green button to enter the room.

Once you are in:

  • Use the lower blue buttons to enable/disable microphone and webcam.
  • You can use the public chat to communicate.
  • You can expand the webcam images or the application sharing space. with the arrows.
  • At the beginning of the seminar keep the webcam off.
