I’m full professor at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of the University of Pisa<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I teach Physical Chemistry and Spectroscopy at the Bachelor’s Degree course of Chemistry<\/a> and at the Master’s Degree courses of Chemistry<\/a>, Industrial Chemistry<\/a>, and Materials & Nanotechnology<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n

I lead the Solid-State NMR group (SolStICE NMR<\/strong>) and I’m scientific responsible for the high-resolution Solid-State NMR spectrometers of the Centre for Instrumental Sharing of the University of Pisa<\/a> (CISUP<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m co-author of about 170 publications on international journals, more than 60 invited lectures and more than 500 poster or oral communications to national and international conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I co-authored, together with Klaus M\u00fcller, the book “Solid State NMR: Principles, Methods, and Applications”, published by Wiley VCH in 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been and continue to be the scientific lead on several industry-funded contracts for investigations of pharmaceuticals and materials by solid-state NMR techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m a member of the Doctoral Board in Chemistry and Material Science (DSCM)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m serving as member of the board of the Physical-Chemistry Division of the Societ\u00e0 Chimica Italiana<\/a>.
I served as President (2017-2022) and as member of the board (2008-2013) of the Italian Discussion Group of Magnetic Resonances (GIDRM).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m research associate at ICCOM-CNR of Pisa<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I received the GIDRM\/GIRM Gold Medal<\/a> in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
