She is also Research Associate in the <a href=\"https:\/\/feb.kuleuven.be\/drc\/LEER\">Leuven Economics of Education Research (LEER)<\/a> center at KU Leuven (Belgium). She has a joint PhD degree (2018) from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imtlucca.it\/en\">IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca<\/a> (Italy) and KU Leuven (Belgium)<span lang=\"EN-US\"> and<\/span> a postdoc at KU Leuven in the<a href=\"https:\/\/feb.kuleuven.be\/drc\/LEER\"> Leuven Economics of Education Research (LEER)<\/a> center<span lang=\"EN-US\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">She is the author<\/span> <span lang=\"EN-US\">of several\u00a0<\/span>publications in top-ranked journals.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">Her<\/span>\u00a0research focuses on<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0the development of<\/span>\u00a0quantitative methods and policy evaluation techniques to address policy-relevant issues<span lang=\"EN-US\">,\u00a0so to\u00a0<\/span>complement efficiency with effectiveness analysis in an integrated economic framework.\u00a0Recurrent empirical applications mostly cover public economic issues and sustainability challenges, with particular attention on local government expenditure, education and water and waste management.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">She works on several national and international projects, including collaborations\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0consultancy agencies<span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0and policy makers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>Academic appointments<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h4>Current position<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><em>04\/2025-<\/em> : Associate Professor in Mathematical Methods for Economics, Actuarial Science and Finance (S.S.D.
