{"id":10,"date":"2015-04-08T11:14:27","date_gmt":"2015-04-08T09:14:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/people.unipi.it\/cloner\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2019-08-19T15:07:37","modified_gmt":"2019-08-19T13:07:37","slug":"ricerca","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/people.unipi.it\/antonella_martini\/ricerca\/","title":{"rendered":"Research team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/people.unipi.it\/antonella_martini\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2019\/08\/team.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-60\" src=\"http:\/\/people.unipi.it\/antonella_martini\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2019\/08\/team-300x281.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/people.unipi.it\/antonella_martini\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2019\/08\/team-300x281.jpg 300w, https:\/\/people.unipi.it\/antonella_martini\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/132\/2019\/08\/team.jpg 578w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The research unit on <strong>Economics, Strategy &amp; Innovation Management<\/strong> includes two full professors, <a href=\"https:\/\/unimap.unipi.it\/cercapersone\/dettaglio.php?ri=1072\">Andrea Bonaccorsi<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/unimap.unipi.it\/cercapersone\/dettaglio.php?ri=4224&amp;template=dettaglio.tpl\">Antonella Martini<\/a>, as well as assistant professor <a href=\"https:\/\/unimap.unipi.it\/cercapersone\/dettaglio.php?ri=133717\">Paola Belingheri<\/a>, researcher <a href=\"https:\/\/unimap.unipi.it\/cercapersone\/dettaglio.php?ri=135837\">Filippo Chiarello<\/a> and other post-doc and PhD students.<\/p>\n<p>The unit performs modelling as well as theoretical and empirical research on firm innovation, focusing on the following thematic areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u>IP &amp; Technology\/Competitive Intelligence<\/u>: technology mapping, identification of emerging technologies, licensing, strategic alliances and business ecosystem mapping, technology foresight, business landscape characterisation, patent portfolio analysis, ontologies, identification and mapping of soft skills required in digital and industry 4.0 sectors.<\/li>\n<li><u>Formal Product Development Methodologies<\/u>: functional analysis, user and affordance analysis.<\/li>\n<li><u>Econometric analysis on micro-data<\/u>: knowledge spill-overs, research systems\u2019 performance.<\/li>\n<li><u>\u00a0NPL-based (Natural Language Processing) tool development for the analysis of technology-based texts:<\/u> patent &amp; paper mining, named entity recognition, artificial intelligence for text mining<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The research unit uses both econometric and statistical models as well as advanced text mining, machine learning and data science methods.
